February

Mid February and we seem to have 'lost' winter.

...and finally, this juvenile spoonbill which I saw some weeks ago is still around although it is like

the scarlet pimpernel.  It pops up anywhere from Humberston near Grimsby down the coast as far

as Saltfleet, about twelve miles to the South.  This stretch of Lincolnshire coast is riddled with dozens

of saltmarsh creeks and unless it flies it is rarely seen. Here it is again, it came and went in a flash.
